Wyatt Dickey Commits to the University of the Cumberlands

Wyatt Dickey ’20 has committed to play lacrosse at the University of the Cumberlands, which competes in the NAIA.

Wyatt is an Attackman from Sykesville, Maryland and attends Century High School. At Century, Wyatt has been on the Distinguished honor roll 8 times, Standard honor roll 2 times, and Minds in Motions 6 times.

Wyatt also plays for Maryland Extreme Revolution lacrosse club. MDX-R is a proud Lax Federation member club.

Why did you choose to commit to the University of the Cumberlands?

I chose the University of the Cumberlands because I liked the campus and the surrounding area. I also think the community service the players partake in is a really cool thing to do. Also the price is awesome especially after the scholarship.

Favorite High School Lacrosse Memory?

My favorite high school lacrosse memory was winning in the state semi-finals.

Favorite Club Lacrosse Memory?

My favorite club memory was winning a championship in a Gettysburg tournament against a team we had lost to earlier in the tournament.

Wyatt would like to thank Coach Mattoon and other coaches at MDX-R that he has had over the years, Coach Benson and the Century assistants, his family, his girlfriend, and his friends.

Lax Federation would like to congratulate Wyatt on his commitment and the opportunity to play lacrosse at the next level.
